For everything you need to know to enjoy your visit to the Theatrebarn.

Keeping Safe:

Following government guidance and advice from UK Theatres, the body which represents regional theatres across the UK, there is no longer a requirement to sign in either manually or automatically with the ‘NHS Test and Trace’ app. However:

  • All our staff will continue to wear face coverings.
  • We will ask audience members to wear face coverings when moving around the building and when seated in the auditorium.
  • Our enhanced cleaning routines will be continued and ‘touch points’ sanitised.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the building.
  • The heating & cooling systems we installed in our auditorium, bar and restaurant areas during the winter of 2019/20 will ensure that our spaces are well ventilated with frequent air changes.

The theatre operates a complimentary cloakroom service located in the entrance to the auditorium. However, we cannot take responsibility for any items left there.

Our team will be able to assist you to take your seats but you will have to wait until a suitable point in the performance so that the rest of the audience isn’t disturbed. For some performances it will not be possible to admit latecomers until the interval.
