Tales From A West End Diva

Sunday 18 August 2019

Rosemary Ashe

Rosemary Ashe is a doyen of the West End with a string of musical, opera and theatre credits to her name. From Lloyd Webber to Mozart and William Shakespeare to Michael Frayn, she has toured nationally and internationally working in plays, television, radio and as a recording artist. One of the truly great all rounders.

She is an Olivier Award nominated actress and old friend of the Theatrebarn. She was as keen to come back and perform for us as we were to ask her to. Rosemary is currently appearing in the West End in the new musical version of 'Adrian Mole' at the Ambassadors Theatre so she has agreed to do this special performance for us on a Sunday.

Humour and high notes form a delightful mixture in the evening with the actress, opera and musical theatre performer, as she tells stories and sings songs drawn from her long and varied career.

She is accompanied by her Musical Director, Paul Knight.

We’ll be raising the curtain earlier than usual, at 6pm, so that the finish will be reasonable for those setting off early to work on Monday morning.
