Roger McGough is the host of the long running BBC Radio 4 programme 'Poetry Please' as well as being one of the country's leading performance poets in his own right. He is the author of over 100 books of poetry for adults and children, is President of the Poetry Society and has been honoured with a CBE for services to literature. He has been described by former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy as 'The patron saint of poetry'.

His themes range from forgotten friendships and the idiosyncrasies of family life to the trauma of war and contemporary global politics. His poems explore the human experience in all its shades of light and dark but always with his signature wit, irreverence and vivacity.

Roger's show with LiTTLe MACHiNe features a fine selection of vintage, classic and surprising poems set to music.
