Janie Dee is celebrated internationally for her extraordinary versatility and has won Olivier Awards as a leading lady in both musicals and plays. In addition to her two Oliviers, her work in the West End, on Broadway and with the National Theatre has won her numerous awards and accolades on both sides of the Atlantic. Alongside her starring roles in productions such as “Follies”, “My One and Only”, “Noises Off” and “Shadowlands”, she is also a sublime cabaret artist. She is bringing her witty and sophisticated cabaret, “Looking Forward” to Bretforton after her recent performances at London’s top cabaret venues, the Crazy Coqs and The Pheasantry.
The show includes songs by Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Gershwin, Ayckbourn and Todd, Mary Rogers, Warren Wills, Sting and Douglas & Weiss. She is accompanied by her MD and pianist, Stephen Higgins.
