After long months of lockdown the end is finally in sight. While we wait for the 21st June and the promised end of restrictions we've been lucky to partner with the Broadway Arts Festival who have breathed life and energy back into our buildings. This is a new venture for both of us and we've been hosting the selling exhibition of their renown Open Art Competition (Friday 4th - Sunday13th June). Happily, this is something we've been able to do whilst maintaining social distance and keeping in line with government guidelines.
At the opening of the exhibition the festival's sponsors and donors came to enjoy a celebration of what they're supporting. They were joined by some of the students supported by Broadway Arts Festival through their bursary scheme.
During the course of the evening we were able to announce the first of our black-tie theatre evenings since the start of lockdown. We will be presenting 'Charlie & Stan' on Saturday 14th August. It will be one of our traditional evenings starting with a reception in the theatre garden and ending, after the show, in our restaurant with a sumptuous meal which the performing company will enjoy with us. If you haven't been to one before, it's an evening like none other at any theatre, you're in for a treat! A second performance will be held on Sunday 15th August, this one with a chance to enjoy a picnic in the theatre garden and the grounds of Bretforton Grange before the show.
Tickets are on sale through the website (go to the 'shows' page), by phone on 01386 577117 or by post to Theatrebarn, Bretforton Grange, Main St, Bretforton WR11 7JH.
If you are on social media, please do follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for further updates and news as the days and weeks go by.
Our very best wishes to you all from the team at Theatrebarn.
